Vigils 5:30 A.M. We meditate on salvation history through psalmody, readings, scriptural and patristic as we await the arrival of the Bridegroom.

Lauds - Sunrise is celebrated when the sun is dispelling the night and the new day is born.

Terce - 9:00 AM is dedicated to the coming of the Holy Spirit as found in the Acts of the Apostles. We pray for light and strength as our work begins.

Sext - Takes place at noon. we pray to resist temptation and, to keep from being overcome by the demands of life. We unite ourselves with Christ as we pray for a an abiding conversion to the point of sacrifice.

Ministry, Rest, Prayer, Work.

Vespers - 4:30 PM This is the hour of resting in thanksgiving after the successes and failures of the day.

Veil - This prayer is used as an examination of the heart.

Compline - This prayer marks the completion of our day and heralds life' end. It is understood as a daily exercise in dying which will open the fullness of light and life
